The Temper Fact Checker presents the 5W flashcards of our naughtiest and nibbliest ones navigating the China Fashion scene, one brand or designer at a time. 5W, you ask? “Who, What, When, Where, Why,” we say. Come hither, Fabric Porn. Check!
Fabric Porn is arguably putting an entirely new spin on the term 孝| “filial piety” in Chinese; as in “honor your heritage”. AW20, all rights reserved
Who?
Designer Zhao Chenxi in 2019 founded the Fabric Porn brand in Shanghai. With functionality and artistry as its two core pillars, the brand does all but shy away from walking the fine line between art and business.
The Fabric Porn male garments take as their starting point that the label’s wearers can team up one interesting piece with anything parked on their clothing hangers already.
The theme behind the brand’s first season, i.e. SS20? “Make China Lit Again” — Trump satire at its finest.
The Fabric Porn genetic structure consists of leading-edge as well as time-honored Chinese influences paired with an off the grid zigzag. Arguably putting an entirely new spin on the term 孝| “filial piety” in Chinese; as in “honor your heritage”, one might even say. Say what, now?
The SS20 collection stemmed from the designer’s observation that the modern Chinese people are lacking in their own cultural confidence, reiterating that they themselves do not agree as much with their own cultural heritage as others (read: outsiders) may.
AW20, subsequently, sees Fabric Porn continue to accentuate the cross-stitchings of Chinese elements and combine these with a modern, first-tier urban, underground even, perspective in a bid to revive the forgotten beauty thriving yet hiding throughout many dynasties of Chinese culture.
Nevertheless, let not the grandpa quirk fool you! This brand is boasting some majorly tight tailoring skills. Skills that have many a true-blooded fashion aficionado chomping at the bit.

When?
Pitti Uomo Exhibitors – Gen 20 Fabric Porn in January 2020, mere moments before the new coronavirus entered our lives, was one of the esteemed Pitti Uomo (“Pitti Men” in English) Exhibitors — Gen 20. Pitti Uomo counts as one of the world’s most important platforms for men’s clothing and accessories collections, as well as for the launching of new projects in men’s fashion.
The brand was also one of the most hotly anticipated labels starring in the Labelhood Live lineup in late March 2020, as part of Shanghai Cloud Fashion Week’s new augmented reality. For many designers, this showcase to many of its participants was a portal to gain some much-needed — hey, we call ’em like we see ’em — exposure, in particular for relatively unknown talents. And the use of video during the broadcast did not kill this rising star.
The Fabric Porn Labelhood Live montage mirage proved the perfect match to connect with a new customer base.

The brand’s video went viral on Tmall, as it captured a truly urban, yet exotic feel staged against the backdrop of a dimly-lit, vague, smoggy setting rousing the vibes of New York’s underground music sphere.
Representing a raw, rough and razor-sharp reflection of the era we live in.

Why?
The Fabric Porn collections feature many a traditional 1990s Chinese element. These influences, including famous comedian Zhao Benshan, red Xi letters and a “Make China Lit Again” cap, resonate with the new-found China patriotic sentiment shared by many young urban millennials today.
In times of economic, pandemic ups and downs, Fabric Porn hopes to present China’s New Youth with a new reason to once again embrace their heritage and, moreover, take pride in it.
Nimble, naughty, “neat” — in keeping with 1990s New York slang.

ITALIAN HUSBAND OF A FILIPINA marito italiano di una filippina
Tagalog Grammar (works in progress…)by Eduardo MarescaA Tagalog course in Italian based on the book “Conversational Tagalog” by Teresita RamosMy journey with the Tagalog language started with this course…. the only material available here back in 2001In this post I am putting together my first 3 post of the series “The Basic Structure of the Tagalog Language”.I think it is more practical to delete my previous small-chunk size posts about Tagalog and replace them with a single post which I will update from time to time. The reason why I am doing this is because from time to time I need to brush up my knowledge of the Tagalog grammar and, in so doing, also share it with anyone who may be interested in learning this language, like some Western guy married to a Filipina for example.I must give credit to a couple of sources that have greatly helped me to grasp the grammar of my wife’s native language: “Conversational Tagalog” by Teresita Ramos and the website http://www.seasite.niu.edu/tagalog/tagalog_mainpage.htmHOW WORDS ARE FORMED IN TAGALOGLearning Tagalog is almost like playing with Lego blocks, as the seemingly long words are, in reality, the result of the combination of a root word and one or more affixes: English speakers are already familiar with this concept because in English a number of words are formed by adding an affix to a root word. For example the root word beauty can be combined with ful to form the adjective beautiful. Take for example the Tagalog root word ganda (that conveys the idea of beauty): if you combine it with the affix ma– you form the adjectivemaganda or beautiful; if you combine it with –um– (between the first consonant and the first vowel) you form the verbgumanda and if you put the prefix ka– before the root word and the suffix –an after it you form the nounkagandahan. As I said, it is almost like playing with Legos and putting the pieces together: depending on the affix that you stick to the root word you can form an adjective, a verb or a noun A root word is simply a basic, core word that can be used to make other words. This is the starting point to understand the structure of the Tagalog language and what I can say is that I’ve found out that the structure of Tagalog is much easier than that of most Western languages, especially when you are learning verbs, speaking of which….VERBAL ASPECT VS TENSESAnother aspect that made it relatively easy, at least for me, to learn Tagalog is that there is only one kind of past tense, present tense or future tense not many like in Italian for example. Technically those are not even called “tenses” but rather “verbal aspects” because they only convey the idea that a certain action has been accomplished, is being accomplished or is being “contemplated” but they give no clue as to “when” it has been accomplished or will be accomplished. For example the verb “bumasa” (to read) has the following aspects: Bumasa ako ng aklat=I have read the book (the action has been accomplished, it doesn’t tell you the when) Bumabasa ako ng aklat=I am (in the process of) reading the book Babasa ako ng aklat=I have the intention to read it, I am contemplating the idea of reading it but I am not communicating when in the future I will do it (unless I use a time expression like bukas=tomorrow etc).A nice way to illustrate the difference between a tense and the verbal aspect is the example of the boss of a company and the secretary (which I’ve found on the Tagalog page of the official website of the department of Asian studies of the University of Illinois): the boss of a company is only concerned with whether his employee has done his job or not, the secretary is concerned with when the employee did his job because she has to calculate the amount of his paycheck. Similarly the verbal aspect only communicates if a certain action has been done or not while a tense communicates when the action has taken place or will take place. If I say something like binasa ko ang aklat (I read the book) that expression simply tells me that I did the action of reading the book, it could have happened one moment ago, yesterday, one year ago, 20 years ago. If I say babasahin ko ang aklat I am stating my intention to read the book: it could happen in 5 minutes or 5 years. So, in order to give the listener a clue about the when Filipinos need time expressions like kanina (earlier), kahapon (yesterday), ngayon (today), mamaya (later), bukas (tomorrow) and many others. In my language (Italian) not only do we have tenses but we have plenty of them, 21 to be specific. We have 8 tenses in the indicative mode, 4 in the subjunctive, 2 in the conditional, one in the imperative, 2 in the infinitive, 2 in the participle and 2 in the gerund, imagine that!LINKERSFilipinos often use either ng or na to connect two words, usually an adjective and a noun. If the word that appears before the linker ends with a vowel they use ng, if it ends with a consonant they use na like in the following two examples: Masamang kalagayan (bad situation) Mahirap na kalagayan (difficult situation) So, in the first example, because masama ends with a vowel I used ng, while after mahirap that ends in a consonant, I used na. The same applies when you are linking two numbers like: Limang daan Apat na raanNUMBERSThe first time I heard numbers like labingisa or isang daan at labindalawa etc. I wondered “how am I possibly going to learn this stuff”? In reality, if you are interested in learning numbers in Tagalog, all you really need to memorize are the numbers from one to ten being: isa dalawa tatlo apat lima anim pito walo siyam sampu. Then, the numbers from 11 to 19 are really easy because all you need to do is add labin to the numbers you’ve already learned: 11=labingisa 12=labindalawa and so on. Then, as for the numbers 20, 30, 40 etc. they all end like 10 or sampu: Dalawampu Tatlumpu and so on Between 20, 30, 40 etc. you just add ‘t isa, ‘t dalawa etc.: Example: 21=dalawampu’t isa 22=dalawampu’t dalawa ….. 51=limampu’t isa And so on As for the “hundreds” you just have to learn …ng daan (except for apat and other numbers that end in a consonant where you’ve got na raan) the pattern is: Isang daan Dalawang daan …. Apat na raan ….. Anim na raan Then for higher numbers you add: Libo=1000 Milyon Bilyon And so on.PLURALSGenerally, in order to turn a singular noun into a plural, Filipinos add the word mga between the markers ang and ng and the noun like in the following examples: “Ang mga Pilipino ay umiinom ng gin” meaning “Filipinos drink gin” (which is true, by the way) and the focus is on the actors. “Iniinom ng mga Pilipino ang gin” meaning the same thing the focus being on the object So, when you find the little word “mga” between the marker and the noun that indicates that the noun is in the plural number. This means for example that if you go to a Filipino party don’t just bring ang isang bote (one bottle), rather always bring ang mga bote (ng gin)…..THE “AY” INVERTERIn Tagalog there is no such thing as the verb to be. You will often come across expressions like: ako ay Pilipino. Well, that doesn’t literally translate as “I am Filipino”. That is just an inverted form of Pilipino ako where ay simply inverts the order in the sentence. Well, this blog is mainly about how to have a thriving marriage with a Filipina but, from time to time I also like to talk about the Tagalog language and grammar. I started doing it in the past a little randomly and so in some future articles I will cover this kind of material in a more systematic way….and in so doing I’ll review the Tagalog grammar myself since I haven’t been doing it for quite a while…FOCUS IN TAGALOG A trickier thing about Tagalog grammar is the so-called focus which basically means that in Tagalog you have to use the right affix to form a verb, depending on the focal point of the sentence, and there are many verbal affixes in Tagalog like –um-, mag-, maka-, makapag-, ma-, magpa-, i-, -in, -an. You also need to use the right marker (something like what we call an article in Western languages) like ang, ng, sa (or si, ni and kay if you are talking about a person). The focus of the sentence also determines which personal pronouns you are going to use.The actor focus personal pronouns are: Ako=I Ikaw (or ka)=you Siya=he or she Kami or tayo=we (I’ll talk about the difference in another article) Kayo=You Sila=theyThe object focus personal pronouns are : Ko Mo Niya Namin or natin Ninyo NilaTo illustrate how all of this works, let’s take the root word basa, which conveys the idea of reading and let’s say that we want to say something like “I (or you, he/she, we, You, they) read a book” In this sentence we’ve got: a personal pronoun (I) a verb (to read) a marker (or article being “a”) In this sentence I can basically emphasize two elements: the one who is reading thereby answering the question “who reads the book?” The object or the thing being read which answers the question “what is being read?”ACTOR FOCUS The first type of focus is the actor focus type of sentence: In this kind of sentence I am going to use such verbal affixes like -um- (that goes between the first consonant and the first vowel of the root word) or mag-.The markers I am going to use in connection with the actor are ang or si (if the actor is a personal name, like “si Eduardo”). And the personal pronouns are ako, ikaw etc.MAG- VERBS Let’s make a few examples: “The man is reading a book” In Tagalog that would be: “Ang tao ay nagbabasa (present “tense” or, more accurately “incompleted aspect” of magbasa) ng isang aklat”. Notice that I am using the “ay” which inverts the order of the sentence that could also be rendered as “nagbabasa ang tao ng aklat”. “Eduardo is reading the book” =”Si Eduardo ay nagbabasa ng aklat” (or “nagbabasa si Eduardo….”). “I am reading the book” =”Ako ay nagbabasa ng aklat”In the examples above I have used the verbal affix “mag” which turns the root word basa into a mag- verb, which is only one type of actor focus verb. The completed aspect of magbasa is nagbasa (mag becomes nag)The incompleted aspect is nagbabasa (mag becomes nag and I am doubling the first syllable)The contemplated aspect (basically the “future tense”) is magbabasa. The abilitative form (expressing the ability to do the action) of a mag- verb is makapag-, so to convey the idea that one has the ability or the possibility to read I say makapagbasa.-UM- VERBSThe other common actor focus affix is -um- by using which with basa the verb is bumasa (past: bumasa, present: bumabasa, again I am doubling the first syllable, future: babasa, I am removing the um to form the future) and the corresponding abilitative form is maka- MA- VERBS Another actor focus affix is ma- for actor focus verbs like: Matulog (to sleep) Makinig (to listen) Maligo (to take a bath) Manood (to watch) OBJECT FOCUS The second type of focus is the object focus in which case I am answering the question “what is being read?” -IN VERBS Examples: “The book is what the man is reading” “Binabasa (present “tense” or incompleted aspect of basahin) ng tao ang aklat” “The book is what Eduardo is reading” “Binabasa ni Eduardo ang aklat” “The book is what I am reading” “Binabasa ko ang aklat” In this case I have used a verb that ends in -in like basahin, inumin, ayusin etc. (Past: binasa, present: binabasa, future: basahin) I- VERBS Another common object focus verb is the one that begins with i- like ituro, idiin, itago etc. (past: itinuro, present: itinuturo, future: ituturo). MA- VERBS Some ma- verbs are actor focus like makinig while others are object focus like: Makita (to see) Marinig (to hear) Mapansin (to pay attention) -AN VERBS Some object focus verbs end in -an like: Buksan (to open) Takpan (to cover) These two are just the two main focuses in Tagalog.LOCATION/DIRECTIONVERBS In Tagalog the affix -an is used to talk about a location, and this applies not just to verbs but also to nouns. For example the word aklatan, which is formed by combining aklat (book) with –an means “library” or “the place or location where books can be found”. The word basurahan, which is formed by adding -an to basura (garbage) is the place where people dispose of garbage. Similarly verbs that end with –an generally refer to an action where the focus is either the location or the direction of the action. For example if I am going to Juan’s house I can use the verb puntahan and the house of Juan is my pupuntahan. If I do something in behalf of someone and this person is the receiver or the direction of my action, I also use an –an verb like bigyan where the verb (“to give”) is used to talk about the person to whom an object is given, like for instance bigyan ko ng bulaklak ang misis ko (“my wife is the one to whom I give the flowers”, so my action, the action of buying flowers is directed toward my wife). Sometimes –an can also be used for object focus verbs (see part 2) or even beneficiary focus verbs, speaking of which let’s now talk about those BENEFICIARY FOCUS VERBS These verbs are used to talk about the beneficiary of an action like for example the verb bilhan (to buy for someone) ex. bilhan mo ang bata ng kendi (“buy the candy for the child”) In addition to –an another beneficiary focus affix is ipag- like in the following sentence: ipagluto mo ng l angmga bata ng fried chicken (“(you) cook some fried chicken for the children”), even though, to be honest, I don’t hear ipag- verbs very much in everyday speech (my wife never uses ipag- verbs but she does use –an beneficiary verbs) An easy way to talk about the beneficiary of an action without having to learn the beneficiary focus is by simply using the expression para sa (“for something”) or para kay (“for someone”) in an actor focus or in a object focus sentence. For example, instead of saying ipagluto mo ang mga bata ng fried chicken you could simply say magluto ka ng fried chicken para sa mga bata (or para kay Mario if you are using a personal name) INSTRUMENTAL FOCUS The last type of focus is the instrumental which talks about the tool or instrument one is using to do something. The affix here is ipang- or ipan- So I could say something like “I am using the walis tambo to sweep the floor” and, in this case I have to use ipanlinis ko ang walis tambo ng sahig If I wanted to avoid using the instrumental focus I could simply use an actor or object focus verb + the expression sa pamamagitan (“by means of”) like nagwawalis ako ng sahig sa pamamagitan ng walis tambo and, in reality, I have never heard my wife using ipang- verbs, she always uses either an actor focus affix or an object focus affix followed by the expression sa pamamagitan. So these are in a nutshell the various verbal focus affixes in Tagalog. In future posts I’ll cover some more grammar rules.Eduardo Maresca | April 9, 2020 at 8:01 pm | Tags: Tagalog Grammar | Categories: Tagalog Grammar, Tagalog language | URL: https://wp.me/paeiS4-1jU
Posts in English, Tagalog and Italian About How to have a Successful Marriage and About the Philippines and its Culture BLOG IN INGLESE, ITALIANO E TAGALOG SU COME AVERE SUCCESSO NEL MATRIMONIO E SULLE FILIPPINE E LA SUA CULTURA
My name is Eduardo Maresca and I am married to a Filipina. I speak Tagalog and I’ve acquired a great deal of experience with Filipinos and the Filipino culture and mentality that I am happy to share through this blog

The first time I set foot in the Philippines, I didn’t quite have the feeling that I was in Asia.
People there look more similar to Polinesians than to those who live on the Asian mainland and the landscape also resembles that of the Pacific Islands because, from a strictly geographical point of view, the Philippines is situated in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and actually lies between the Asian mainland and Micronesia.
When I think of Asia the very first mental picture I have is the far East, namely places like China, Japan or Korea. Then I broaden the picture and what also comes to mind is places like India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and, of course, the Middle East.
The Philippines is none of these things but at the same time it includes some elements of other Asian countries.
There is an expression that encapsulates rather nicely what the Philippines looks like and the expressions is: Filipinos are Malay in family, Chinese in business, Spanish in love and American in ambition.
Another expression, pointing to the Western colonization of the country is:
Filipinos lived 300 years in a convent (under Spanish domination) and 50 years in Hollywood (under American domination).
Filipinos are Malay in family
The ancestors of the population of the Philippines, at least the vast majority of it, came from Malaysia and, under this aspect, Filipinos are much more akin to Pacific Islanders than they are to Asians.
That’s why Filipinos look closer to Hawaiians, Maori etc., since they came from the same Malay-polynesian group. Many smaller groups of indigenous peoples and immigrants constitute the remainder of the Philippines’ population.
They are Austronesian
Tagalog is an Austronesian language like the languages spoken in the Pacific Islands.
Me dressed like an indigenous Filipino (Igorot)A Catholic church in BulacanNoodlesMalay looking FilipinoTagalog is an Austronesian languagePolinesian vibes
Chinese in business
This expression reveals that Filipinos have had a lot of connections with the Asian Mainland, and particularly with China, while Pacific Islanders are, by and large, culturally and socio-economically cut off from Asia.
Not only are Filipinos Chinese in business, in the sense that Chinese business people are very active in the Philippines, they have also been strongly influenced by China in such areas as cooking (Filipinos eat noodles and spring rolls) and family relationships (such Tagalog expressions like ate and kuya, or “older sister” and “older brother” come from Chinese).
Not only have Filipinos been exposed to Chinese immigration, the country has also been exposed to Arabic immigration, to the point that part of Mindanao (the Southernmost island group of the Philippines) is a Muslim area.
The “Culture Shock Philippines” book by Alfredo and Grace Roces says
“At about the same time as the Chinese, the Arabs had also come to the Philippines to trade. In the Southeast Asian region the founding of Malacca, followed by the conversion of its leader in 1414, spread the influence of Islam among the Malay peoples, reaching southern Philippine shores in the 14th century. Islam remains a dominant influence in the southern Philippines, a factor that unified the kinship groups in the area to resist colonisation by Spain effectively and strongly for 400 years, and put up a strong resistance to American colonisation. Although only a small minority within the Philippine population—about 5 per cent—the Muslims have added cultural character to the nation. The Filipino Christian majority today express pride and admiration”
Spanish in love and American in ambition
The fact that the Philippines have been exposed to 300 years of Spanish colonization and 50 years of American colonization sets them apart from both the rest of Asia and Polinesia and gives the Philippines a strong Western veneer to the point that a Westerner like me really feels like having landed in a Western country when he first sets foot in the Philippines.
In the Philippines you can find Spanish architecture as well as American-style skyscrapers.
Actually the Philippines was not even directly controlled by Spain, rather it was ruled by the Spanish via Mexico so, in this respect, the Philippines could also be viewed as a slice of Latin America situated between Asia and Polinesia but, at the same time millions of Filipinos speak English rather fluently and the American impact on the country can easily be observed by a tourist who sets foot in the Philippines.
So, yes, the Philippines is a very unique place: it’s a mixture of Asia, Polinesia, U.S.A. and Latin America.
From a selfish point of view I should encourage you to visit Italy, because my country will badly need tourists after this Coronavirus crisis but I must honestly tell you that I would rather encourage you to visit the Philippines than to come to Italy.
It’s geografic position as well as its exposure to all kinds of cultures and its incredible mixed architecture make the Philippines a place like none!
As I have mentioned in some of my previous posts, diskarte is the Filipino skill to come up with creative solutions to all kinds of problems.
A major problem that Filipinos are dealing with in this period is how to maintain social distance when big families share tiny homes.
I stumbled upon a funny Facebook post that shows a unique way a Filipino family is using diskarte to keep social distance in their bahay kubo.
Social distancing is, obviously, not mandatory inside one’s home but, apparently, this particular family is super law-abiding and wants to go the extra mile.
Manila Bay looks like Boracay (photo taken from Filipinos Around the World)Boracay? No: Manila Bay! (photo taken from Filipinos Around the World)
While I was checking my Facebook notifications I stumbled upon a couple of posts from Filipinos Around the World and Virtual Pinoy that caught my attention
I have been to Manila a few times and I have been wandering how the usok or smog problem could possibly be fixed.
The area know as Metro Manila is wrapped in such a thick and dense cloud of smog that it is almost impossible to see the nearby Sierra Madre Mountains.
Well, few weeks of community quarantine have made it possible, as smog has abated quite a lot.
Not only that: it seems like even Manila Bay is becoming some sort of Boracay.
So here is the answer to the question that many experts have tried to answer for decades: how can Manila pollution problems be solved?
Evidently by drastically reducing car traffic!
How? Not easy but my impression as a foreigner is that way too many Filipinos use their cars or ride on a jeepney unnecessarily, even to cover very short distances. So letting go of that habit would probably go a long way.
An invitation to stay home from the Italian government that very few drivers dare to ignore
I have heard about a book by Gabriel Garcia Marquez entitled “Love in the Time of Cholera”.
I haven’t read it yet but it seems like it would be a good idea to do so given the particular time we are living in.
When I complete reading “The 5 a.m. Club” by Robin Sharma I might check out Marquez’s book but for now I have to figure out how to remain in a state of love during the quarantine because, like all couples in the various countries that are under lockdown, my wife and I will be spending a lot of time together without any possibilities to go on a solo retreat when the atmosphere gets intense.
The increased anxiety, and the irritability that goes with it, that characterize this unusual time make it difficult to practice some of the keys to a happy marriage that experts talk about.
One of the key ideas that I have abundantly read about in various relationship books and that I have (more or less) diligently tried to practice is the idea of showing appreciation.
Now, because during the lockdown we will be spending a heck of more time together, chances are that I will see more clearly the ugly things than the amazing things in my wife (and she will see my ugly side of course).
Because it is going to get increasingly difficult to see the things we appreciate in each other it’s time to practice this appreciation thing even more consistently. So my battle plan is to make it a daily practice to look at as many pictures as possible of the best moments my wife and I spent together throughout all these years.
Also, because I regularly put down in writing the things I love about my wife (as experts suggest) and the reasons why I fell in love with her in the first place, I am thinking about spending more time doing this and doing it even more than once a day.
I am also working out a strategy to be able to (somehow) do other things that are important in a relationship, namely:
Going on a date:
We won’t be able to eat out for weeks to come (or even longer…maybe) so my idea is that we could go on an imaginary date by turning our house into a restaurant (provided that grocery stores will stay open).
We could perhaps prepare a special Filipino meal together and she could teach me (for the 20th time because I keep forgetting) how to make lumpya or Filipino spring rolls (she once taught me how to make pandesal and I did a great job but, as usual, I forgot how to do it). Yes, cool idea: we could create a home restaurant…
We could go to the movie by watching a movie together…on YouTube (as if we were going to a literal movie theater…which we actually never do but we could start doing it now).
We could spend an evening with some close friends through Zoom or Skype.
We could replace going on a romantic getaway with planning our next trip by means of Google Maps or looking at some pictures of the best trips we made together in the past.
Another crucial thing in an intimate relationship is giving space: not easy when you share the same room 24/7 but I could allow her to watch her own things on YouTube while I do my Kindle reading, so we could give each other space this way without leaving the room.
There are different ways to go about working out a viable strategy to prevent the inevitable tension that characterizes a lockdown from eating away at love and intimacy.
At least I have started thinking about it and putting down in writing some ideas. I’ll try to come up with more ideas and insights in the days to come…as a matter of urgency!
In this period I am deflecting a bit from my main topic, which is my relationship with a Filipina, and I am touching on what it is like to live under total lockdown.
This is, more or less, what Rome looked like yesterday night
So I am being forced to spend weekends at home.
But I have a lot of things that make my isolation much sweeter like:
First and foremost my beautiful wife who is sweetening this unusual time with pure and pristine love, a love that isn’t tainted by any pressures to go out and do something, just pure cuddling
I have also discovered an app, similar to Skype, called Zoom that allows us to do videoconferencing with up to 100 people for up to 40 minutes (with the free version) and we are using it both for our regular spiritual gatherings and for other kinds of Filipino social gatherings, without having to spend any money on gas or experience the burden of finding parking
And I have managed to do my regular weekend excursion by means of Google Maps!
This weekend I am visiting the amazing sea resort of Sperlonga, situated about 130 km South of Rome and I am exploring every nook and cranny of this beautiful town by means of Street ViewAnd, last but not least, I am tapping into my Kindle collection of books and taking advantage of the immense reservoir of knowledge availableBut we are also allowed to breathe some fresh air to queue at the grocery store…Slowly but surely I’ll get used to this quarantine….
Filipino people have a way with finding creative solutions to all kinds of problems.
This Filipino trait is known as diskarte.
A serious problem most people have at the moment here in Italy is how and where to find face masks to protect themselves from Covid 19.
I don’t have any problems in this regard because my wife comes from the land of diskarte so I have my personal collection of homemade face masks.
Face masks are almost impossible to find in this country at the moment but, a couple of weeks before the nation-wide lockdown was introduced, I already had my Filipino-made masks.
I am not quite sure about the actual effectiveness of these masks against the virus, but grocery stores won’t let me in without one, so these ones should do their job and grant me access to the nearest supermarket.

I’ve been watching a lot of K-Dramas lately and I just keep looking at everyone’s lips. They are like shiny but still look natural enough and I just really want some Korean lipsticks recommendation. Thank youuu.
EDIT: thank you all so much I didn’t think I would get so many replies. I tried out the Romand Juicy Lasting Tint today and my god I like it sooo much. I really like A’pieu Juicy Pang Tints. They’re super glossy but dry down super nice and stain for a long time. I usually put it on and let it dry for a bit, then blot the glossiness away. I’ve seen a lot of people love their mousse tint, but I haven’t tried them yet. I also really like Innisfree Vivid Cotton Ink, it’s velvet and smooth and not overly drying. It’s a velvet-matte texture. Finally, Romand lip products are really really nice! I like more hydrating lip products so I get the gloss tints. The Juicy Lasting Tint has been a favorite of many people, and they’ve added a lot more colors to the original line that are more natural and wearable for all skin tones. It’s moisturizing and it will dry down after a few hours, but the tint is very natural and not patchy at all.

Kikumasamune High Moist Sake Lotion! Talk me into/out of please.
Also: Sukoyaka Suhada Urea Moisture Lotion. The ingredients list looks SO GOOD! But I’ve literally never heard a single thing about it so it can’t be that good…? Talk me into/out of it!level 2labellavita198521 points·21 hours ago·edited 19 hours ago
IN Sukoyaka Suhada Urea Moisturizing Lotion. People do talk about this, even some YouTubers I watch. It’s a DEEPLY hydrating waterweight toner. I absolutely love it and it gives my skin a glass skin look. So much better than the sticky Hada Labo lotions.
OUT Kikumasamune. Sticky and smelly. (I absolutely love the Kikumasamune Milk (Emulsion) on the other hand, if you’re looking for a lightweight moisturizer.)Continue this thread level 2iairhh8 points·23 hours ago
As much as I wanted it to, the Kiku lotion didn’t work for me. It broke me out across my cheeks really bad. However though, even if it doesn’t work for your face, it’s nice for your hair and body. I love spraying it all over my hair before I put in some leave-in conditioner.Continue this thread level 2Itsmew088 points·19 hours ago
The kikumasamune smells funky but i love it during winter. It moisturize and plumps my skin beautifully and my face glow. And you can’t beat how economical that product is. (I got it in an local shop for 20$CAN)
For reference, i’m living in eastern Canada, the winter here are pretty harsh and i have combo skin.level 2snowyrinna5 points·21 hours ago
I loved the first week of using it, and then it started breaking me out and I saw more clogged pores :/level 2RedRedBettie5 points·19 hours ago
At first my skin loved the kikumasamune lotion but the. It gave me a wicked case of fungal acne. So beware if you’re prone to thatlevel 2republicansex3 points·22 hours ago
It really depends on your skin type. I have dry, sensitive skin and love both of these products and find them indispensable in my routine during the winter and while using tretinoin. I’ve been using Kiku as an FTE, followed by SS Urea Moisture Lotion (and another non-AB soothing toner), and it’s been working wonders.Continue this thread level 2jo_perez2 points·23 hours ago
Kiku didn’t do anything for me either. Smelled like sake, which I didn’t particularly enjoy. People said that it was so moisturising but I have normal skin and didn’t find it that moisturising.level 2Airyrelic2 points·22 hours ago
It smells awful but I loved it. It did wonders for my skin. I live in a really dry climate right now and I’ve just finished my last bottle (can’t order any more thanks to the COVID ban) and I can absolutely feel the difference. My skin is dryer a lot earlier in the day and less glowy than when I used Kiku.
That said I felt a similar, more noticeable and quicker difference with the Missha FTE. The Kiku is a lot easier on my wallet for the amount you get per bottle though.Continue this thread level 2Swhilly241 point·12 hours ago
The Kikumasamune broke me out SO BADLY. And I have resilient post-accutane skin. It gave me acne on my arms!!level 2nicoweyesNC25|Aging/Acne|Combo|DE1 point·12 hours ago
What do you like about the ingredients list? I see lots of flower extracts that I would expect to be irritating. Or are they not? Just curious.Continue this thread level 2YMCAle1 point·19 hours ago
This thing gave me TERRIBLE acne, so theres that. It’s how I discovered my skin absolutely hates all things fermented.level 1mdmhong17 points·1 day ago
It smells amazing and the packaging is super nice, but for me, it just leaves a film after washing and hydrates my face, which I feel like I can get from a cheaper mask.level 2EldradMustLive2148 points·20 hours ago
Not worth it. Doesn’t do anything for me and has caused some sensitivity a few timeslevel 2Ange5757 points·21 hours ago·edited 15 hours ago
I would not recommend. I used it twice, left it on for no more than 10 minutes, and my face turned into a burning mess with massive pimples that were painful and took at least a week to heal
Edit: sorry forgot to mention this! I have very dry skin, somewhat sensitive skin.level 2semi_nomad10 points·1 day ago
It’s THE BEST skincare product I’ve ever used. My skin feels as soft as a baby’s bottom after rinsing it off.level 2lonelyheartscluband5 points·19 hours ago
If you can go for the mini size! I just got one from YesStyle and I’m really liking it so far! It’s most definitely the most hydrating wash off mask I’ve ever used.level 2jo_perez7 points·23 hours ago
I won’t talk you into it. Just get it. Srsly it’s my HG wash off mask. You only need a thin layer and you can leave it for as long as an hour (in fact I feel it works better the longer you leave it). It is costly but like I said, thin layer only. Lasted me months. 6 months to be exact and I probably have 3 more uses left!level 2girlinadarkroom3 points·1 day ago
I bought this because of how much everyone raves abt it ! I’m excited.level 2wvwvwvww3 points·21 hours ago
Into on the basis that it never dries and you can actually use a really, really small amount – so it’s very economical. I get better hydration/plumping from the I’m From Ginseng but they’re both in my drawer.level 2misstea333 points·18 hours ago
I got a mini sample size from Yesstyle for free once and OMG, I love this mask! I have combo skin, but I get super dry during the cold winters and this stuff is a HG product during those times. It has this thick caramel like consistency and smells heavily of….. well, caramel/honey. I do not have sensitive skin, so the fragrance really doesn’t bother me. I would like to add that I personally feel that it sort of leaves this moisturizing/oily-ish film across my skin, and some people may not like that, but I love it during the winter because it locks in hydration to my skin. My main point it, I would say it’s great for people who have dry skin. I’m also happy that my oily T-zone and chin does not freak out when I out this on as well.level 2itsally53 points·14 hours ago·edited 12 hours ago
I will talk you out of it. It is moisturizing but I just find that I don’t have enough time to reach for it and leave it on for over an hour (the longer you leave on, the better it works). I haven’t found that it improved my skin the next day. Sure, the skin feels moisturized right after I do it but I don’t see any long term benefits of it. It is also really thick and really sticky. It gets in your hair and creates a sticky mess. I have a tough time getting it off and sometimes it feels like there is an oily film residue left after which gives the effect of ‘moisturized’ skin. The mask is a little overpriced for the ‘benefits’ they claim. I would much rather do a sheet mask where the clean up is way more convenient.level 2dindin_din2 points·12 hours ago
I’ve tried a sample pf this product from Yesstyle. Unfortunately it didn’t leave me with a big impression. Actually yes, my skin felt moist after using it. But then few minutes later my skin felt a little tingling idk why. I don’t hv a sensitive skin, and my skin is actually normal to oily. So i don’t really wanna use it anymore. I suggest you to try a sample org a small version of the product firstlevel 2ianjbiblyboo1 point·1 day ago
Has fragrance which is sensitizing and may cause harm over time :/level 1jbelrookie8 points·22 hours ago·edited 21 hours ago
Just started tretinoin for acne and I’m looking at moisturiser/cream options that are great for that. I don’t want to buy all of these!!
Etude House Hydro Barrier Cream
Hada Labo Perfect Gel
Illiyoon Ato Lotion vs the cream version
Zeroid Richenic Cream Urea 5% vs their Pimprove Moisturizer
I love this shit. It’s extremely plumping and hydrating, but it is also so moisturizing it gives most lipid based/emollient moisturizers a run for their money.
I absolutely hate the Hada Labo lotions (Moist and Premium) but I absolutely swear by the Perfect Gel and the Gokujyun Premium Milk.
I’m supposed to have the Illiyoon Ceramide Cream delivered today so I can report back, however I honestly think USPS lost it so I don’t think it’s coming
I don’t recommend the Mamonde “by default” because of the fragrance (and alcohol.) Especially for someone just starting Tretinoin. It’s a bad formulation, honestly. But I haven’t used it.
IN: I LOVE the Mamonde cream, it has this beautiful balance between watery and fatty properties, so it keeps you feeling plump while locking in all your moisture. The only downside though, as mentioned above, is the fragrance, which is actually really light floral scent, so not the most unpleasant. It hasn’t irritated my sensitive acne-prone skin, and I’ve gone through, I think, four jars already? It’s worth a try!level 2maek_ju1 point·13 hours ago
Heard really good things about the first 2, but currently using illiyoon! Lotion is lighter so might be better option for you. Illiyoon ceramide line is one of the only lines I know that have that perf ratio, it’s really moisturizing and great for sensitive skinContinue this thread level 2pgrmvars1 point·4 hours ago
zeroid: get both of them. i have pimprove and it is exceptionally impressive. it’s rare for me to love putting a lotion or cream on my face but i really love this. you can also check glowpick.com ratings (use chrome and translate the pages). they are through the roof only for zeroid.
the urea derivative in the hada labo stings. this entire line is overrated. it has two things going for it: price and lack of fragrance. but you can do better. much better.level 2night0possum1 point·21 hours ago

I have combo oily + cc prone skin and I used the tone up cream for two months. It was ok but I can say it did nothing noteworthy to my skin to be a mainstay.
I would like to point out, though. I live in a hot and humid country and I constantly sweat like a sinner in church but my face didn’t feel extra sticky when I was wearing it.Continue this thread level 2honeygelato1 point·21 hours ago
(tone up cream) for light skin i’d recommend it! gives an even, radiant complexion when used in thin layers.level 2springtae1 point·6 hours ago
The jelly cream is really nice but there is fragrance in it. It’s a gel type moisturizer and it’s pretty sticky but didn’t break out my sensitive skin. It wasn’t that hydrating though and honestly felt more like cosrx snail than a good moisturizer. Definitely depends on your skin type but I would say out.level 1ElenaOvard6 points·1 day ago

You know, I don’t love this? I said elsewhere in this thread I have dry, sensitive skin. Don’t get me wrong–this is a great sunscreen. Dries down well for me, not at all irritating, but it’s not super moisturizing on my skin and not great value. It’s TINY! I just got 1 (tiny) tub of it, it made my skin itch. It also doesn’t dry completely (I put on bare face), very shiny and greasy. Nah. Even Purito Centella Unscented spf completely absorbs into my skin, but this one doesn’t. Thankfully I got it for cheaper price (living in SE asia)level 2AlphaBabyNC37|Pigmentation|Normal/Oily|US2 points·17 hours ago
I like it a lot, honestly. I usually buy 2 tubes at once. I love that it’s alcohol free. It feels like it just glides onto my skin. I don’t personally have problems with pilling usually, but I also don’t wear much makeup. Or maybe it depends on the type of makeup you use after it? Anyway, I like that I can throw it on and maybe finish with a translucent powder and head out the door (and the powder isn’t even necessary because it dries well). I usually buy like 2 bottles at a time but I don’t go out too often because I work from home a lot, so I’m not sure how long a bottle lasts.level 2ferranteforever2 points·15 hours ago

Klairs Supple Preperation Toner – Unscented vs Laniege Cream Skin Refiner. I have dehydrated skin prone to hyperpigmentation and probably rosacea rype 2 but I can’t go to a derm because of COVID – 19. I heard that Etude House’s Soon Jung one is calming but not moist so it is a toss up between these two. I tried the Laniege Cream Skin Refiner in a sample size I got for a few bucks in Korea and now I’m wishing I bought more. I tried the Klairs one but with the essential oils a few years ago as one of their one time use sample packets after I over exfoliated and it was the only thing that didn’t sting. There is around a 10 dollar difference.level 2labellavita19859 points·21 hours ago·edited 19 hours ago
Honestly they have nothing to do with each other.
The Laneige is a moisturizing, heavy, OILY toner.
The Klairs is a lightweight, hydrating, WATERY toner.
So go with one depending on what you need.
If your skin needs more hydration, go with Klairs. If your skin needs moisture (oil, emolliency,) go with Laneige.
I personally didn’t like Laneige much. It’s difficult to fit into a routine especially if you use serums (it’s a toner and moisturizer in one, think about it, where does your serum go?) I forget I have it most of the time. That’s how unenthused I am about it.Continue this thread level 2ih8comingupwithnames1 point·18 hours ago

I’ve only used Klairs and Soon Jung so can’t comment on Laneige but Klairs makes such a huge difference to my dry dehydrated skin. When I use it, my skin is plump and hydrated. Soon Jung feels like water and isn’t really hydrating. It leaves a sticky film on my skin and I can’t wait to finish the 25mL so I don’t have to use it anymore. I got a sample of both so I’d suggest you do that too if you can’t decide! I’ve seen samples of all three for sale.Continue this thread level 2saxMachine1 point·22 hours ago
I use the unscented one and cannot live without it. It really refines my skin and helps products sink in better. I’m not sure if it is the sodium hyaluronate or the ferment in it that really helps my skin glow and feel and look refined the next day. It’s quite viscous but it dries down soo quickly like there’s nothing on your skin.
That said, the scented version broke me out like crazy two years ago but gave the unscented version a try and have loved it since!Continue this thread level 1ninuchka9 points·1 day ago

Basing off the other comments, you could try stratia lg instead as it has niacinamide too and a lot of good ingredients. I just looked up the ingredients for the Daily Repair Moisturizer and it’s full of filler ingredients..90% of the product consists of water, dipropylene glycol, glycerin, cyclopentasiloxane, and 1-2 hexanediol, all of which are solvents. I have tried it and loved it! But I won’t be repurchasing since it has some citrus oils I’m not comfortable with putting on my face daily. If those don’t bother you, I’d say it’s definitely worth a try. I have oily skin that tends to dehydrate easily since I live in an arid climate. I think this would work for many skin types- it’s very hydrating but not overly occlusive, and not so light that I feel I’m missing something. Very balanced formula which absorbs easily and feels great to wear, and layers well no matter what I put under or on top of it. I love the incorporation of niacinamide, which is a hero ingredient for me. If they made a version without the citrus oils I would make either this or their centella cream my daily moisturizer!level 1hoehoehoe23237 points·1 day ago

Got it for my ice pick scars. I believe it was a 1.75mm needle for three of my sessions and a 2mm for my fourth.
It hurt like hell! I’m terrified of needles too so it made the muscles in my face tighten and it took longer for the procedure. The next three or four days after each procedure also felt very hot and tender like a sunburn, but there was no residual pain. It’s very important to use sun protection too!
The results have been phenomenal though!!! It is something that they suggest doing once every few months with a shallower needle (much less pain) to keep the results, but I’ve been so happy with how my makeup lays.
The other option I was given was lasers. Less sessions, longer results, but the cost and downtime was a little much for me. The doctor also suggested something not so extreme considering we were just focused on my scars and not any other skin concerns as well.

I used the Aloe. It’s pretty nice.. waterweight but hydrating, which is right up my alley. It contains some really good ingredients in addition to aloe, like green tea, snail, etc. I won’t repurchase because of fragrance.
i have the skinny longlongcara, and like the other commentor said, it has a very small wand with a drier formula, and works great for lower lashes as well as if you just want a very subtle look, more a lash tint than much of a voluminizing or lengthening effect. i also found the tube dried out pretty fast, since its quite small and dry, but i just keep the wand and use it with other mascara formulas haha.level 2Jeejerlicious4 points·1 day ago
The wand is super small and skinny so it’s great for bottom lashes, but because of its size not a lot of product can actually get on the wand, so it’s hard to apply thick coats. I solely use it for my bottom lashes, which are super short, and it’s super easy to apply.level 2BurgundySnail3 points·16 hours ago
Just started long long one.
It’s dry.
It doesn’t add volume at all.
It doesn’t make your lashes long (let alone long long)!
It’s great if you’re not a big fan of really dramatic lashes. It’s also pretty easy to take off with micellar water/oil cleanser since it comes off as little clumpslevel 21perfectstranger2 points·13 hours ago
Great for lower lashes! The tiny wand is amazing for super fine, thin coats.
That said, this is the epitome of a natural-looking mascara. It doesn’t clump and it barely shows up on upper lashes. It’s probably for people who don’t need volume or definition.level 1KindCapital4 points·20 hours ago

IN – Great Barrier Relief.
If i could marry this product, I would. Never considered anything a HG before this. I had a terrible terrible reaction to a mineral oil product/using a konjac sponge, my face was tomato red and covered with inflamed cc‘s. i got GBR a couple of days after the initial reaction, and it was crazy how much it calmed the irritation down. i use it pretty much daily now, only skipping if i really want to use a different serum (i try to only use one serum per routine) and my skin is looking better than it has in years. I’ve been using it for about a month and my PIE is slowly but surely fading, something that usually takes soooo long. I also have more of a glow than usual, but that may be in part to the fact i finally started introducing actives into my routine. that being said, i’m also certain GBR has made a huge difference with starting actives. i have very sensitive & reactive skin so i was super nervous about actives, but it’s really been smooth sailing beside a lily’s purging here and there. My skin feels a lot stronger & tolerates products it didn’t use to tolerate. I feel like i could keep going on and on lol but i won’t turn this into a novel. but highly recommend buying it! super worth it imolevel 2tbkp2 points·11 hours ago

Sorry to say, but I was not a fan of the Great Barrier Relief! For one, the smell. It’s a very herbal-y scent that reminded me of something I hated (YMMV) and it also didn’t go away for several minutes. Not necessarily answering your question but: History of Whoo often has samples available, as far as I know, and they’re decently priced. I bought the 15ml Gongjinhyang sample set (the toner and emulsion) and it wasn’t particularly memorable for me. The scent was pretty strong, that I remember.level 2limekissxx3 points·23 hours ago
About 3 years ago, I was gifted their entire line. Everything felt luxurious putting the products on, but ultimately didn’t see any results when compared to when I was just putting Benton essence & steam cream on.level 2C_Chrono3 points·22 hours ago
I second the suggestion for samples. Their products tend towards being rich (thicker and heavier) and most are also heavily scented. If you have sensitive skin, be aware their the ingredient list is super long and most have denatured alcohol too, which increases the chances of a bad reaction. If your skin is pretty resilient, go for samples first.level 2pgrmvars4 points·21 hours ago

I really enjoyed it for about 2 months- it’s more hydrating than anything else. Using it felt very soothing and lovely, and it absorbs nicely. Gave a supple moist feel to the skin. But…
OUT If you’re looking for a replacement for Hada Labo, this ain’t it. You are going to be disappointed. The Secret Key is not hydrating. It’s not a hydrator. It a “prep” product.
It is not going to be a substitute for Hada Labo, which is a hydrating toner loaded with Hyaluronic Acid, in the hydration department. It’s just not even comparable.

TMI/TMO: Not strictly AB, but rosehip oil – and if so, what brand would you recommend? I was looking at Life-Flo and The Ordinary because of cost, but I’m definitely open to others!
Backstory: Debating on replacing my Stratia Liquid Gold with rosehip oil mixed into Cerave PM (PM has worked well for me in the past) for a cheaper moisturizing option w/ ceramides/niacinamide. LG healed my moisture barrier when I went on Differin last year, so I’m wondering if it’s worth continuing with it? I haven’t tried rosehip oil on its own yet, but I don’t think I’d have a bad reaction since it’s present in LG.level 21perfectstranger3 points·14 hours ago
Unfortunately, oils are something you have to try for yourself to see how your skin reacts.
If you mix any dry oil with a moisturizer and your skin doesn’t absorb it and it just sits there doing nothing, that’s the sign to drop it. Please, before it gets worse, especially if your moisture barrier still needs repair.
Years ago, when I broke my moisture barrier, I used rosehip oil with a light Cerave lotion I had tolerated for years. The rosehip never sank into my skin and came off if I touched my face. Dry patches increased and redness never reduced. My skin got so sensitive that the Cerave lotion stung.
I switched to Stratia LG and it absorbed so much better. My dry patches decreased and even if my redness didn’t reduce much, my skin calmed down.
Now that my moisture barrier is way less broken, my skin might react better to a rosehip oil and moisturier combo, but the only way to find out is to try again.
Also, rosehip oil can expire quickly and ideally should be kept in a fridge or dark, cool place.

Mizon black snail cream I have normal to oily skin. I heard this product is best for older skin but I am not focused on anti aging products at all.level 1AlphaBabyNC37|Pigmentation|Normal/Oily|US0 points·17 hours ago

Purito Centella Green Level Unscented Sunscreen.
I think my face has become sensitized to my current sunscreen, the innisfree blueberry rebalancing watery sun cream because of the fragrances. I have dry skin and am currently using tret which is giving me a lovely orange peel texture. I am sensitive to many fragrances and get headaches or feel nauseous if something is heavily scented and the smell does not dissipate. I previously liked the 2017 Biore Watery Sunscreen even if it didn’t reapply well and made my eyes watery and didn’t like the Canmake Mermaid UV because it pills immediately. I can’t stand the smell of the Shiseido Senka Aging Care sunscreen (like neutrogena sunscreen) and will have to use it on my legs or something. The Shiseido Senka Mineral Water sunscreen made my face dry and tight immediately after application.level 2Jeejerlicious1 point·13 hours ago
I think if you have dry skin you’ll like this as it feels like a nice moisturizer and dries down to a semi-matte finish. I haven’t noticed any bad smells from it, and it doesn’t pill.level 2_thewaltzingdead1 point·7 hours ago
It has a great texture and no discernible smell. Dewy finish. Great for dry skin (very moisturizing). Has soothing ingredients like centella asiatica and niacinamide. That said, I wouldn’t recommend this for very oily skinned people, especially in humid climates. I also wouldn’t recommend it for intense outdoor activity as it is not water or sweat resistant. But as an everyday sunscreen, it’s solid.level 1BurgundySnail0 points·15 hours ago

Heimish All Clean Green Cleansing Foam! I have combo leaning dry very sensitive (mild rosacea) skin. I’m currently using the Soon Jung Whipped Cleanser and while it’s not crazy drying or irritating I’d like something more gentle. I saw a skincare youtuber I love who finds the Soon Jung too drying mention the Hemish cleansing foam is gentle but cleanses well.level 2labellavita19852 points·5 hours ago
IN!!!
My favorite cleanser of all time. Sooo gentle but still effective. Rinses off super clean in seconds, which means you will experience less trans epidermal water loss.. clean ingredients list. Also, cheap AF! What more could you ask for?Continue this thread level 1itsally50 points·14 hours ago
Peach C palette in soft coral and romand see through matte tints!!?level 2softhorns2 points·8 hours ago
i have the romand see through matte tint in burn wrap! the formula is fairly dense and dry compared to most tint formulas; you need to be very careful in applying a thin layer to get that ‘see through’ effect – and while it is pretty, i think you can get a similar effect by just rubbing a regular velvet tint thinly into your lips. i also didn’t notice much of a stain. also, the fabric ripped off my applicator less than 10 uses in!! xc good pigmentation, decent staying power and fairly transferproof if you actually succeed in getting a thin, even layer, but i find that takes time if youre a lip perfectionist like me. i also did not find it to be particularly drying, and it was easily applied evenly when in thicker layers.
overall i dont find it to be anything particularly special, and i do think it requires some technique; but if you just want a nice velvet finish tint and dont care about the ‘see-through’ effect too much, it works very well and has a pretty finish and colour.Continue this thread level 1zcheryl0 points·5 hours ago
